As a classroom teacher, I am always trying to find fun, educational field trips for my students and I to attend. These are a few things I have to keep in mind when planning a field trip: all of the first grade students at my school have to go on the same day (200 students), we can't leave the school before 8:30 a.m. and we have to arrive back at the school by 2:15 p.m., we have to take our school buses, and the trip needs to be able to gain and maintain the interest of the students (ages 6 and 7). These things limit our field trip choices tremendously. What are some fun and educational field trip ideas that are in Mobile or Baldwin County and what is the learning objective for it?
